I have been submitting material and it generally has been put into a
category "Waiting for Moderator".  Then nothing happens.

What is the story?

Time to select anchors . . . .

Our boat has twin hawes pipes forward.  No pulpit so a forward plow-type
anchor will not readily fit.  I wanted to have two different types of
anchors and selected a big fortress for one side of the boat, but now I need
to find an anchor for the other side.

Does anyone have any advice or experience -- good, bad, or indifferent about
either:

or, the

  1. Forfjord

These seem to be the two anchor alternatives, other than the Fortress, to
hang off the side of the boat.  Thanks for any thoughts.

You might also look at Rocna. Lots of good reports on these from some
very experienced long-distance cruisers.

Alan, Owing to your hawse pipe design, you will need one of the stockless
anchor models found on this website:
