Free Avon and Evinrude

I have an 10 foot Avon with a 15hp Evinrude.  The Avon is has a ribbed hard
bottom.  They came with my 1978 Gulfstar when I bought it about 5 years ago.
I have no idea how old they are.  I owned the boat initially with a guy
that loved to "tinker" and he had the time and talent to keep the outboard
running like a top.

About 6 months ago I bought him out, so the boat is all mine.

The bad news is that I am mechanically challenged when it comes to small
motor maintenance and the Evinrude needs tender loving care.  The Admiral
has a hard time starting it with the pull rope to top it all off.

Anyway, it's time for a new dinghy and motor so I am going shopping at the
Miami boat show.  I need to find a home for the dinghy and motor.  The Avon
tends to lose air after about a week, but it has a foot pump.  As noted, the
Evinrude needs periodic tender loving care.

Rather than go through the eBay route -- I thought that I'd see if anyone on
the list wanted it.  No cost -- gosh knows I have benefited greatly from
lurking around the list.  Never hurts to give a little back.

I live in Tampa and I have a slip at Imperial Marine right off Gandy
Boulevard.  I am willing to give the avon and evinrude, free of charge, to
the first person who responds to me directly and wants them.  At the end of
the month I'll arrange with whomever wants them to either get the dinghy to
the fuel dock where it can be taken away by car or we can arrange to
transfer it to your boat.

If anyone wants the Avon and the Evinrude (and a gas tank and two paddles
for good measure), just e-mail me directly.  First e-mail I receive that
wants the dinghy and it's all yours.
