Hi all, Following Donald Pye's directions I located these birds ~4:00 pm to-day. 3 were just west of RR tracks - mostly on the roadway with 7 further west beyond the curve, mostly flying about and landing on corn stubble on the north side of Hyndman Dr. Whenever I tried to get a scope view they took off - there were also ~50 Horned Lark, ~80 Snow Bunting, 2 Lapland Longspur, some Dark-eyed Junco and Tree Sparrow for quite an eclectic and active 'mixed flock' along this stretch. It was still quite cold and windy to-day although the sun was shining brightly I'm pretty sure they were Eastern Meadowlark and a treat to see. Directions - Hyndman Dr. is 2 concessions south of Hwy #2 at Melbourne west of Middlesex CR#9, between Mayfair Rd and Thames Rd.(CR #8).
