Ready to move off your sailboat and onto a trawler? Do you have an older
sailboat suitable for fair weather living aboard and occasional coastal
cruising? Maybe it's worth more as a trade-in than if you sold it and used

the

proceeds to help buy your trawler! We're planning to buy something like an
early '70s Bristol after we sell our trawler, and cruise and live aboard

in

Florida a few months a year. We'd consider a suitable sailboat (or ????)

as a

trade-in.

Our trawler is a 1971 Grand Banks 36. We've outfitted it for living

aboard,

and have spent the past two and a half years aboard and cruising full

time.

See http://www.gb36.org for some details. Email or call 919-740-2239 for

more.

I'll admit, not exactly a trawler, but we just took in trade a 1982 Sea

Ray

360 Sedan SF with twin Volvo TAMD-40's (790 hours), a new Northern Lights
5.5kW Generator, new Heat/AC units, and a fresh new bottom.  She's a
comfortable 12 knots cruise, has a small cockpit, good size bridge, we're
asking $46,500.  WHAT A DEAL!  Please give me a call or an email and I can
provide more info and pictures.

Rex Yachts in Fort Lauderdale is proud to announce that we are now the
Southeast Sales Representatives for Selene Yachts. These beautiful

trawlers

range from 36' to 62' .Our current plans are to have the 48' and 53' on
display at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in October.

We are also working with Ted Hood to represent his new  52' express speed
catamaran, with transatlantic range, full displacement hulls and a

cruising

speed twice as fast as a displacement monohull trawler. This yacht is
currently undergoing sea trials and will also be on display at the Fort
Lauderdale Boat Show, with his new 48' 10 knot motorsailer.

If you would like more information on these yachts or the many other used
trawler yachts within a one hour drive of my office please contact Tucker
Fallon, tucker@rexyachts.com, or 954-801-3645. Having had my captains
license for almost 30 years, I like to tell my clients that I am not some
guy that used to sell refrigerators.
