Further is a Grand Banks 42', Hull #124, built in 1969, with records and invoices going far, far back.
I bought this 42 foot Grand Banks Trawler in 2011 for preparation, cruising and live-aboard. I have digitized the equipment and replaced nearly every major system from blackwater to deck to autopilot. As a craftsman I am functional and land-lubber simple but had incredible advice from many others on the water.  It is good for a comfortable life.
The craft has twin 120hp Ford Lehmans with approximately 2000 hours apiece. The mast is the original wood with spreaders added in 2014. It is rigged with a steadying sail. Two boat boxes for cordage and maintenance supplies are secured over aft cabin on a dinghy platform. The teak swim platform was replaced in 2016. The teak deck was partially removed replaced with a rubber-like surface over new sub-deck in 2012. The engine exhaust lines were replaced in 2012. The transom was removed to replace the substructure in 2012. The gunnels have been rehabbed.
She carries 640 gallons of diesel tankage. 2-190 Imperial gallon black steel tanks 2-130 US gallon poly tanks all cleaned by a home-built polishing system with a capacity of about ten gallons an hour.
250 imperial gallons of fresh water tankage, 2-125 Imperial gallon steel tanks.
2500 watt Onan diesel generator with approximately 750 hours.
1800 watt Xantrax power inverter with lower helm monitor.
Twin 8D starter batteries, single 4D generator battery.
10 Gallon electric water heater.
Island Time wireless access point.
The cable steering has a newly-installed a Raymarine 400 series autopilot with remote that can be controlled by the plotter or a wireless device like a tablet. It can be controlled through a Brookhouse iMuxST wireless access point that feeds my phone, tablet, and laptop and as a hardwired connection to the Digital Yacht Class B AIS and a router to my Garmin 3010C Chartplotter with the 24” analogue Digital Yacht Class B AIS connected to a  Garmin radar and Sirius electronics.
The Standard Horizon Matrix AIS/GPS VHF was purchased 2014 and the Standard Horizon UX851 Handheld VHF in 2011.
The Danforth Express magnetic compasses at the upper and lower helms were rebuilt in 2014.
Raymarine ST40 depth gauges and transducer to upper and lower helms was installed in 2012.
Extensive Rehab for deck, transom and interior. Some work remains.
For ground tackle there is a 50# SuperMax adjustable with 30' 1/2 chain and 300' 7/8 three-strand nylon, 35# CQR with 250' 3/4" three-strand nylon, Two 18# Danforth anchors one with 15' 3/8 chain and approximately 100' 1/2" three-strand nylon. 30# antique collapsible fisherman-style with 15' 3/8" chain and approximately 100' 1/2" three-strand nylon. There is also approximately 300' 3/4" three-strand nylon and braided dock-lines of assorted lengths.
Bottom was sanded re-caulked, sealed and painted with Trinidad SR in Spring 2012 and repeated in Spring 2015 with the same paint. The hull and house were repainted with two-part Awlgrip white in Spring 2015 and railing and pulpit refinished with Awlgrip clear Spring 2016.
New cutlass bearings installed in June 2015 and zincs for vessel bonding and for the blade-type, wire-cutting capable, prop-shaft line cutters. One inch spacers were installed to improve water flow between the cutter body and cutlass bearing on the rear struts
Interior ceiling has 2" rigid foam and 1/2' cedar T&G 3" and 6" planking in salon and after cabin.
Cooling is an older Cruise-Ai a/c and heat pump with air handler to serve the forward and after cabins. Salon is cooled by a roll-around unit.
The aft cabin has twin hollywood sized berths with Casper foam mattresses while the v-berth forward has 4" Foam Mattresses.
