Passing this along.

From Annie and Mike Perko:
(sent at 11:18 AM)
Red-headed Woodpecker is finally making regular visits to peanut feeder
since 10:A.M. lst 5-10 minute intervals but now every 2-3 minutes.  Had
a red Shoulder Hawk earlier this morning that got some kind of mammal.
Got a piece of the foot that we found so don't exactly know what it was.
That might have kept the Red-headed away.

Passing along this later update.

From Annie and Mike Perko of Colchester:

(sent at 4:54 PM)
Red-headed Woodpecker showed up finally around 10 and stayed around
off and on til last seen around 4:30.  Five other people got to see
it today. Thanks for not giving up on him/her. It seems to be more
active after 2 P.M. Today it was seen eating peanuts, suet and
white millet on the ground near back feeder. Before lunch it seemed
to be find his cache and eating leftovers from yesterday.
