In the early 2000’s when we were first looking for a trawler for living aboard and traveling the Great Loop I found this list. The amount of knowledge gained from following the threads and asking questions steered us to the perfect boat for us and a great increase in confidence to take on the quest. We purchased our boat in 2005 and started our travels in 2006. I continued to monitor the list for many years and had the opportunity to meet Georgs while we were both traveling on the Rideau Canal. Unfortunately we had to get out of boating to take care of parents. We thank everyone on this list over the years for providing your knowledge and especially to Georgs and Bob for maintaining the list for all this time. Sad to see the list close but fully understand the rationale.
