Hi all
i am having a Ball Efratom M100-2 that stopped working. i am asking for advice what to look in general for?
The unit in question started to take more than 6 1/2 minutes to achieve lock!
Normally this would be less than 5 minutes! To be more precise it usually took about 3 1/2 minutes to achieve lock!
Maybe someone with more experience can guide me?
thank you very much
Herbert

Some early suggestions:

  1. Does it show any RF output?  Of course, this alone is
not meaningful if by design it does not turn on the output
    prior to establishing lock.

  2. Does the current consumption vary in a manner suggestive
that the oven is working?  That is, does the current start
much higher than normal operating current and dribble off
to about normal over about the normal warmup period?

I've got two aging Rb's and I live in terror that one or both will
expire before I do.
