THIS WEEK IN TRI CLUB (October 4-10)!... THE FALL GFC IS UNDERWAY!

First, congrats to this past weekend's event participants!  Included were a
number of fantastic results with podium finishes by Randell Torres and
David Stone at Scoogie Events' "Peace Valley Duathlon", Lily Stone at
Scoogie's "Kid's Rock Duathlon", and Brittany Acosta at DelMo Sports'
"Crest Best Run Fest" 10 mile race.  Additionally, Karen Dunn finished in
the top 25 overall plus 3rd overall female and age group winner at the
Wineglass Marathon and Chris Acosta took 3rd overall at the Crest Best Run
Fest 5k!

Now on to this week... GATOR FITNESS CHALLENGE XV, the fall edition, is
officially underway!!  It begins today and, after 13 weeks, ends on Sunday,
January 2.  We have close to 40 participants taking on the weekly
challenges... If you are not yet in and would like to be added, just post
an "I'm in!" comment and we'll add you to the roster.  For more details,
see the GFC FAQs post under "Announcements.

We're officially transitioning from outdoors to indoors for our weeknight
cycling options by adding a Tuesday night coached spin/strength workout
along with a Thursday night Zwift meetup series.  And we'll also soon add a
Saturday morning Zwift meetup series.

The week also features a club event on Sunday!

Spin/Strength workout coached by Logan Washburn

• Wednesday 10/6, 6pm-7:15pm: Run workout coached by Karen Dunn... Watch
