Has anyone noticed GPS problems today?
It looks like PRN32 / SVN 23 went faulty yesterday and was taken out of service last night at 22:00 ZULU

We've seen issues with a number of timing receivers so far.
Best Regards,
Charles

Hi,
It seems that several SVNs (PRN 2, 6, 7, 9 and 23) got feed bad data.
This is not the first instance, it seems that single SVNs have had bad
data the last couple of days.
When our 4 GPS receivers at work got "hit" at midnight, it got our
attention. Interestingly enough they did not experience issues at the
same time, it just started about the same time.
Several of my customers also reported issues. Turns out that more people
seen this.
It will be interesting when a proper analysis comes on this.
Cheers,
Magnus

Presumably, each rx would be affected when it added one or more
corrupted satellites to the constellation it was using for its
solution. Since each rx makes those decisions independently, one
would not expect them to exhibit problems in exact synchrony.

Ha!
I finally answered one of my questions that has been bugging me!
I was taking dBm as the definition of voltage - which it is, but only
round-about. The hidden variable is the assumed impedance of 50 ohms where 1mW
is the zero point for power. That is also why I wasn't getting consistent
answers - different application areas I am interest in assumed different
values for the impedance and so my calculations were all over the place. I
found a reference in the PRS10 reference that tied it all together for me.

I don't know if this related or not but my Z3816A (with Symmetricom SatStat) is displaying the proper time but a date of 12 Sep 2035, tracking PRN 1, 7, 17, 19, 28 and 30.
My TBolt (with Lady Heather) is displaying proper time and date, tracking 1, 7, 11, 17, 19, 28 and 30
I 'cycled' power on the Z3816A but it came up with the same erroneous date again. TFOM is 3 and FFOM is 0.
I'm going to open the unit, remove the 'back up' battery and let it 'rediscover' itself and see what happens. I tried to set the date via command but no joy.
