o NCL interested in advocating for comprehensive, community wide adult
education â In WIOA, value these other activities: Share family literacy
survey data to work against misconception that fam lit isnât happening.
How can we value it in AE reporting? How to recognize digital literacy
skill building?
o Beyond WIOA, recognize adult education within other systems; e.g.
childcare, health, community school models How can OCTAE help message the
equity investments that can support adult education participants in order
to get integrated access to services? [Beyond just GEER FAQs]
o Would OCTAE support a âdesign teamâ to help model these comprehensive
services that leverage multiple funding streams to deliver services
(e.g.,instructional, support) that address holistic needs in order to move
the needle on equity? To implement strategic coenrollment â to recognize
that our âstudentsâ are other peopleâs âclients, customers, recipients,
employees, parents, neighborsâ etc. SUPPORT AEFLA STATE AGENCIES to
understand how to leverage this moment of investment â
o ASSESSMENT take advantage of this time of flexibility to understand new
assessment models.
