Hi Ellynne - Bauer Farm was MUCH more quiet than yesterday and no one saw a Dickcissel this morning as far as I know. Still, they could be there; it might be worth a check this afternoon. I think the birds are trying to keep under cover from the east wind…the overall numbers of birds was quite low!

Best birds seen today were Nashville Warbler, a nice Field Sparrow, one Indigo Bunting and one White-crowned Sparrow…but I still have some raptors to ID.

I saw one Dickcissel around 1pm. It was NOT in the garden. It was in the shrub line along the stone walk behind the garden, so don’t just check the garden ;)
