SCC Members,

I am thrilled to announce that Janie Hayes has accepted the new Communications Director role on the SCC Board of Directors.

If you don’t yet know Janie, I suggest you should.

She is one of the most motivated athletes in the valley (marathoner, ultra marathoner, Ironman, Trans Am Bike Race Finisher - the list goes on).  In fact, she just completed the Sebring, FLA 12-hour time trial last weekend - 253 miles in 12 hours. It was a new women's record and she came in second overall!

Oh, and Janie has mad communications skills to boot.

This combination amounts to a perfect storm to fill some important needs in the SCC.  I’m genuinely excited that she is offering her talents to us.

Let’s all give her thanks, and a warm welcome to the SCC Board.
