Editor's Note: Apologies for the lack of a "This Week in Tri Club" and GFC
Roll Call post last week. I've been on the road (work and vacation) for
the past two weeks and just didn't get it done, but we're back this week
and no travel planned for at least a couple of months.
This is an exciting week that includes both a special Endurance Sports
Nutrition seminar on Thursday at 7:30pm as well as Gatorthon taking place
next Sunday on the treadmills at the Spring Valley Y's Wellness Center!
Besides that Gators Club Philly continues into it's second month and the
winter Gator Fitness Challenge moves into the final four weeks. And if
that is not enough, two of our sponsors, Scoogie Events and the RUNegades,
are offering events next Sunday... If you happen to be particpating in
either one, please let us know and we can include you as a virtual
participant in Gatorthon.
Evening Swim Workout Updates: Starting this week there will be two
changes...
We are moving back to Wednesday nights (so no Thursday night swims
moving forward).
The new swim time for both Monday and Wednesday nights is 7:15pm-8:15pm.
Endurance Sports Nutrition Seminar: Takes place this Thursday at 7:30pm via

Gatorthon Runners needed! In case you missed it, we posted a "last call"
for Gatorthon runners yesterday... We are currently under 20 adult runners
and are looking to have 30 or more to proceed with the event. If you are
available to complete at least one mile (or as many as 26.2 π) and are not
on our current roster, please post a comment here or on the "Last Call"
post or direct message Don Mack and we'll add you to the roster. We'll
make a go/no go call on the event no later than Tuesday morning.
Gators Club Philly: Just a reminder if you have achieved a badge, PLEASE go

are tracking who is in "Gators Club Philly" as well as who is on their way
to earning the "Rocky Victory Chomp" badge by achieving at least 7 of the

including 14 opportunities to help you get fit; this includes 5 swims, 3
cycling opportunities, and, including our Tuesday run workout, the 3
RUNegades group runs, and 2 Keystone Running Store group runs, 6 running
opportunities!
