The USAA General Agency handles larger boats through Markel American
Insurance Company among others. I believe the threshold is an insured value of
$100,000 or more. So here you are only passing through USAA. I had this  insurance
for years until they became very picky where they offered windstorm  boat
coverage. They covered me year round in Florida until I left for a year.  When I
wanted to come back they wouldn't cover windstorm, named or not, so I  switched
companies to one who was not a USAA contractor.
