I second, John's sentiments about fall/winter cruising in the PNW. John, I think we saw you at Montague Harbour last weekend. We were in the N40 swinging on a buoy. Doug, if you like a peaceful anchorage the Gulf Islands are best cruised during the winter. Out of Victoria you can be into some great cruising all winter. We intend to head up to Desolation over Christmas. We'll be out in Georgia Strait and the Gulf Islands. Drop us a line if you want recommendations. Cheers Ian
