There is still time to register for The Grand Cinema's free Film Camp for Salishan residents, which will be held from Aug. 16 to 20 at the Salishan Family Investment Center, 1724 E. 44th St., in Tacoma. This camp is for kids between the ages of 10 and 15. They will work in teams of five with the support of a filmmaker mentor and production assistant. Together they will develop and create a complete short film in just one week, presenting their finished work to family and friends.
