Week Number Roll Over (WNRO)
On April 6, 2019 there was a GPS week number rollover (WNRO) that
affected all earlier GPS / Timing units in the world, regardless of
manufacturer, that did not handle the New Epoch.
In general, the receiver manufacturers did NOT update their 6 and
8-channel GPS receivers from the 20th century. In fact, many have
exited theGPS receiver marketplace (merger, changing product lines, not
competitive, bankruptcy, etc.).
Owners of surplus Trimble Thunderbolt GPSDO (Red) and purchasers via
the Time-Nuts Group know this situation, and that Lady Heather (WNRO
adjustment) permitted their continued usage.
On September 9, 2004 Trimble announced their new 12-channel Lassen iQ
GPS receivers. This GPS receiver was fully compatible with Trimble’s
earlier (and popular) Lassen sQ series.

Today, the Trimble Larsen sQ and iQ GPS receivers are End of Life
(EOL).
However, HEOL Design (France) designed and manufacture Trimble clone
replacements, for older equipment designs that internally used these
Trimble receivers (and address WNRO).

I hope that “fills in” the product history of the Trimble Lassen iQ
receiver series.
Thanks to HEOL, equipment using that receiver module can continue its
useful life.
