Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.

one 1st cycle Glaucous Gull.

02/07/14 - Berlin -- Two Fox Sparrows doing their back and forth
rumba, stirring up some good eats on a small patch of ground where the
snow has melted

02/07/14 - Hamden Yard -- Just back from vacation and happy to see our
Rusty Blackbird flock still hanging in there. (they were being fed
while we were away) Approx 50-60 birds present most all day. Of note
is that they are singing much more now than only a little over a week
or so ago when we left.

02/07/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- NHBC First Wednesday
(sort of) walk was led by Greg Hanisek. Fantastic looks at a
Rough-legged Hawk soaring over our heads. On the ground we had a
Lapland Longspur and Fox Sparrow.

02/07/14 - Stratford, Birdseye Boat ramp -- 1 dark morph Rough-legged
Hawk patrolling the northern end of the marsh in between Milford and
Stratford.

feeders, Rusty Blackbirds, mixed sex & plumage, flocks up to about 40.
