Dear University Cities list, I've attached my notes from today's call. I've included summaries of the litigation, questions from participants, answers to those questions, and some talking points from a lecture I gave in Virginia this weekend on the topic of scooter litigation. I've also attached copies of the complaints. I'll send the complaints against Norfolk, VA separately as I'm waiting to receive copies of those from their city attorney's office. If you know of any litigation please contact me (especially if you have a copy of the complaint). I'd like to keep track of the litigation and help you all come up with solutions to prevent/alleviate the liability from as many of these lawsuits as possible. Additionally, IMLA has an amicus advocacy program which is included in your membership. If you're sued and would like amicus aid from IMLA just email me (nsanjar@imla.org<mailto:nsanjar@imla.org>) or Amanda Kellar (akellar@imla.org<mailto:akellar@imla.org>) and we will start the process of amicus approval.
