the Six Star Medal for completing the six world major marathons! Susan
attained this goal by completing the Tokyo Marathon. Congratulations Susan!
That late Saturday night/early Sunday morning feat led to the use of many
feet in Gatorthon IX that included 40+ runners completing 5 full marathons
and 1 half marathon! It was a fantastic event that included a full youth
Gators team and a group of 5 inspired runners associated with Amon Gibson

We also began Gators March Madness, a 31 day challenge to complete a swim,
bike, or run activity every day during March with daily roll calls. We
began with 26 athletes participating and most safely made it through the
first 3 days!
And this coming week features another highlight... The start of Daylight
Savings Time! Outdoor rides aren't too far away!
This serves as your weekly list of our club workouts and, for the 26 weeks
of fall and winter, your opportunity to post any completed Gator Fitness
Challenge weekly challenges including the SBR Challenge (i.e. complete at
least 45 minutes of swimming AND cycling/spinning AND running) and the SCF
Challenge (at least 45 minutes total of combined strength, core, and/or
flexibility workouts).
If you completed the SBR Challenge, the SCF Challenge, or both last week
(February 26-March 3), please post a comment indicating which challenges
you completed. Your results will be added to our tracking sheet.
Workouts Attendance Poll: To assist with workout planning, please check all
workouts that you plan to attend. This helps us plan, so PLEASE take 1
minute to mark the workouts that you plan to attend.
