The Peregrine Falcon that has been around for the past three months, appears
to have staked out the Grain Elevator in the Collingwood harbour as its
winter home.  If you need a Peregrine Falcon for your winter list, this bird
is observed daily and is a reliable sighting.  It is often perched on the
antennae at the top of the tower on the eastern side of the structure, or on
the roof ledge at the top of the tower overlooking the harbour.  It is
feeding on the pigeons that roost in the western end of the grain elevator
and puts on some spectacular displays of avian acrobatics as it hunts.

The entrance to Millenium Park, in which the Grain Elevator is located,  is
100 metres east of the intersection of Hurontario Street (Main Street) andf
Highway 26 at the extreme north end of Collingwood.
