5/26 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- STILT SANDPIPER continues in
the wet marsh area at Meigs point across the street from the Nature
Center and east of the boardwalk to the Meigs Point pavillion. The
KING RAIL continues at the restored wetland at the end of the Nature
Center gass parking area with the blind. The King came out at 8 pm
walked around the short grass for about two minutes, sang once, about
five quicks clacks, and disappeared into the phragmites.

5/25 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- Blackburnian Warbler. Also
in the evening lots of Sharptailed Sparrows out in the marshes at the
end of the Cedar Island trail...at one point (about 7 pm) there were
12 individuals visable. Also 2 Seaside sparrows.

SHARP-TAILED SPARROW (many)

6/26 - Groton, Barn Island -- 2 Tricolored Herons on the north side of
the 1st Impoundment, echoing previous reports there were many
Saltmarsh Sharp-tailed Sparows kicking around, alas no Nelson's.

same time for over 30 minutes), 2 MARSH WRENS,
South Windsor, Vibert Road -- 2 BOBOLINK
Bloomfield, Penwood St Park -- the KENTUCKY WARBLER continues (singing
consistently 12 noon- 12:15pm)
