Note: entrance fee charged for non-residents. 12:10; Charlie Barnard and I last saw the Am Golden Plover across the river (Milford side) on the southern most sandbar, as the tide was quickly rising. From Frank Mantlik and small crowd: 08/14/14 - Milford, Milford Point -- an adult AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER is roosting at high tide on the tern nesting bar with lots of BBPL and other shorebirds. At least till 3:00. It's on the bar viewable west down the beach from near the wooden bench.
