On May 30th, our nation will honor the fallen men and women who served in the U.S. military.

These brave men and women gave the ultimate sacrifice in order for each of us to live freely in the greatest country in the world.

Many at LSR have family and friends whose lives were lost. To you and your loved ones, the LSR BODs extend our heartfelt gratitude for the freedoms and liberties we have today.

This Memorial Day weekend our community will honor those by proudly displaying the American flag placed in each front yard.

This Wednesday, the 25th, community volunteers will place an American flag in your front yard along the curb.  We ask that you allow the placement of the flags to honor those that have fallen and those that currently serve or have served in the U.S. Military.

As you spend time with your family this  Memorial Day weekend, remember what a great country and community we live in.

A huge thanks to Paul and Julie Braden for furnishing the flags.  To Dale and Sheila Monday, thank you for initiating the honor of our fallen military heroes with this flag display.

Thank you LSR for all you do to make this a great place to live and call home.

Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend.

Our intent is to decorate the neighborhood with the Flags on Memorial Day,
4th of July, Labor Day and Veterans Day for a 3-4 day period surrounding the
holidays.  When the holiday period is over, we will collect all Flags to be
reused for the next holiday.

If you are interested in helping Julie and I distribute and place the flags
for Memorial Day, please meet us at the Playground Pavilion this Wednesday
(5/25) at 6:30 pm.

Thank you,
Paul & Julie Braden
