Well, almost free! First, the back story. I'm the owner of Wallflower
Photography (www.wallflowerphoto.com), a photography company that my wife
Laura and I have built into one of Tacoma's top wedding photography shop
over the past eight years. This year we decided to launch two new
businesses. Laura built a baby and maternity portrait studio called Bump &
Bambino (www.bumpandbambino.com), which is already doing very well, and just
last month I launched Senioritis Photography (www.senioritisphoto.com),
providing a high-end option for high school seniors looking for really
amazing senior portraits.
One thing I've discovered already is that it's been easier to book girls
than guys, so I came up this little idea. I could use a few senior guys for
my website portfolio, and I also have a yardwork project that I could use
some help with. I'm giving three senior guys the opportunity to get some
really awesome portraits in trade for 3 hours of yardwork. Or perhaps more
importantly, I'm giving the parents of three senior guys the opportunity to
get some really awesome portraits of their sons in trade for dropping him
off at my house for 3 hours of yardwork.
The value of the trade is $250, and that includes $100 worth of prints, plus
digital files and a sweet video slideshow on a USB flash drive that they can
use on their Facebook and other social media sites. Their photos will also
go up on a private website gallery so that family members can log in to view
them and order prints and other products for themselves. I offer a huge
selection of products, both the standard fare and some really unique,
high-end albums, wall art and tabletop art.
The portrait shoots themselves can take place either at Point Defiance
(gardens, beach, forests, railroad tracks), downtown Museum District
(architecture, glass art installations, waterfront, UW-T campus), or north
end of downtown (rusty carless bridge, rundown Elks Temple, graffiti-covered
walls, machinery junkyard). All three may be customizable, depends on what
you want. I do need at least one of the three guys to pick the third option,
but I wouldn't be surprised if they all do! It's first-come, first-served in
terms of picking the location.
If you have a senior GUY and want to take advantage of this special,
one-time offer, call me (Scott) at 253-209-4324 or email me at
hi@senioritisphoto.com ASAP. If you have friends who might be interested, do
them a favor and let them know! If you have a senior GIRL or know someone
who does, I don't want to totally exclude you from any special deals, so I
can offer $50 off, or double your print credit to $200, your choice, if you
book by Halloween!
