QA for release v4.5 is now open!

To jump in and start testing, visit the the testing tasks page (link below) and assign yourself a task by entering your name into the Tester column and an X into the In progress column:

Some tasks are to be completed using the core CSpace installation, while others are testing profile-specific functionality.

The QA server can be accessed via:

http://qa.collectionspace.org:8180/collectionspace/ui/core/html/index.html

To visit the QA server for a profile, simply substitute the profile name in the URL where it reads "core", e.g.:

http://qa.collectionspace.org:8180/collectionspace/ui/fcart/html/index.html

And change the login from admin@core.collectionspace.org to admin@fcart.collectionspace.org, etc.

New to QA testing? Grab a one of the primary or secondary tab tests - these are the simplest tests and will get you familiar with the process.

Found a bug? Head over to issues.collectionspace.orghttps://issues.collectionspace.org/secure/Dashboard.jspa and let us know about it. QA is a critical part of the process, and we couldn't do it without the assistance of our community.

NB: The SSL certificate for the QA server is being renewed now, so you may see a "not secure" note in the address bar of your browser. It's fine to carry on with your test, just be sure to use the default admin logins.

We're off to a slightly slower start than I'd hoped for.  Please assign yourself a testing task for next week -see email thread below.

I'll be rebuilding the QA server this weekend.  This means that ALL data will be cleared from the QA CollectionSpace instance when we all return to work Monday.
