The birds seemed more active today than they have been for a  couple of
weeks. In particular, the Winter Wrens singing almost constantly, the  Northern
Waterthrushes more vocal, and more Canada Warblers sounding off.
Once again I spent an hour chasing a bird around, convinced it  was a
Cerulean Warbler, only to find a Black-throated Blue - who came very  eagerly to
a Cerulean call and ignored the BT Blue song. Bird was in an area of  tall
mature oaks, with no conifers anywhere close.
