<!-- DIV {margin:0px;} --><!-- DIV {margin:0px;} -->**July 3 Races Abandoned -- No Wind.**We appeared to have about 15 PHRF racers out last night and several Ideal 18s. The RC and fleets waited patiently,with the AP flag flying from 18:30. After sufficient grieving time, the RC announced that all races were abandoned. That's the third time this season we've abandoned due to lack of wind (May 22, May 29, July 3)..

For 2019, we have 18 Wednesday nights reserved for Nyack Boat Club PHRF races -- May 8 to September 4. Two (2) are set a side for Pursuit Races, (June 26 & September 4) and 16 are counted for the Cruising Fleet Wednesday Night Series. There are eight (8) race dates remaining in the Series (July 10 - August 28), and to date we've completed five (5) races (May 8, 15, June 5, 12, 19).

For scoring Wednesday Night Series we discard one race score if up to five races are completed, discard two scores if six to ten are completed, and three scores if eleven to fifteen are completed. The current standings reflect five races completed and one discard. For the 2019 season the maximum number of discards will be three (if we complete six more races), and could be as few as two if we don't -- we do expect to complete at least one more race before September getting us to at least six races and two discards.
