Dawgs: There are a few changes in the upcoming 2022 Roaddawgs Ryder Cup event in August. 1. Due to the unavailability of several dawgs who will be playing the SCGA Members Outing in Ireland or out of town. We will move our 2022 Ryder Cup one week later from Thursday, 8/18/2022 through Saturday, 8/20/22 TO, Thursday, 8/25/2022 through Saturday, 8/27/2022. if you made a hotel reservation for this event, you need to revise your reservation accordingly. 2. Due to the change above, the RC Committee will not be able to stay at La Purisima's Farm House like in years past. The Farm House was booked by another party on that weekend. There will not be a party after the conclusion of the Individual Round at la Purisima GC. 3. The Road Dawgs' Committee implements a change in how the respected team captain is selected. Murali and Mark Allen have served as the captain of Team El Rey and Team El Verde respectively for the past 7 years. Starting this year, the team captains will be the winner of the 2021 top dawgs and the runner-up. For 2022, Team El Verde's 2022 Honorable Captain is Stu Levine and, Stu will be assisted by Mark Allen as an assistant captain. Team El Rey's 2022 Honorable Captain is Greg Franklin and, Greg will be assisted by Victor Vannukul as an assistant captain. The signup for this year's Ryder Cup will be open for signup in a few weeks. If you have any comments or suggestions, please drop us an email or reach one of us in person when you see them at the Hill.
