Tip of the hat to John Markovs (Deputy County Attorney for Montgomery County MD)  for forwarding me this:  Virginia SCT on August 30 upholds injunction against Loudon Schools for suspending a teacher with pay who spoke at a public meeting to give comments on the system's proposed transgender policies.  The teacher described his faith and how its underpinnings did not allow him to abide by the school's proposed policies regarding transgender students. The system noted that the comments created a disruptive environment in the school (but the court found scant evidence of that).  We will likely see continued battles in this area.  Loudon County School Board v Cross VIRGINIA: (windows.net)https://adfmedialegalfiles.blob.core.windows.net/files/CrossOrderVSC.pdf (if this link doesn't work for you let me know and I'll try to forward you a pdf.
