Activities last week:
Fixed bustage, uplifts and release activities for TB 56 beta 4, looked for and fixed regressions, various reviews, misc. bug fixes, sheriffing. List below. Notable:
- Clean-up of literal string use in all of mail/ and mailnews/ triggered by an M-C bug in that area
- refreshed and landed a 5 y/o patch of David Bienvenu to allow Unicode passwords
(someone whose mail provider allows non-ASCII passwords, please test - bug 312593).

Obstacles and impediments:
Slow reviews as noted below, ten and seven weeks delay so far.
Build/release support has resumed, so the situation is improving. Still open: No automatic Daily updates, no L10n Dailies, failing Mac builds, various disabled tests.

General remarks:
C-C tree status: Critical (details below), no manpower to investigate various intermittent test failures.
Current known threats from M-C: Dev tools become system add-on (sounds like a broken record but is still true).

Tree status classification: Green, Normal (some failures), Deteriorating (many failures, opt builds still green), Critical (opt builds with failures affecting IMAP functionality). Additionally I had to switch off tests failing due to bustage, Blocked (less than two platforms), Doomed.
