Observers:

Visitors:
Thanks to Jim, Keith and Mark C. for today's report. Let's hope things pick
up over the next few days.

Weather:
Not a stellar day at the hawkwatch today. First hour was drizzling rain
with moderate to strong SE winds. The rest of the count period was hazy and
continuing strong SE winds. Cloud cover was 100% and humidity near 100%.

Raptor Observations:
Just 3 birds counted today as migrants ... 1 per hour (ouch!!)...2 Sharpies
and a single Osprey.

The Eagles and a few TV's were enjoying the wind. They were pumping hard
going east and then screaming back to the west.

Non-raptor Observations:
Passerines were non-existent in the hawkwatch area.

Predictions:
Tomorrow looks promising with brisk NORTHERLY winds (either NW or NE
depending on how far the low moves off to the east). This should along with
the much cooler weather make for a decent flight. There is a small threat
of showers early, clearing mid morning.
