Hello everyone, I sent out an email earlier this month about the plight of the D.A.S.H. Center. We must raise $6000 by September 30, or we are being asked to vacate our space. The Center is located on the corner of 15th and MLK, in the Sons of Normana building. We are in the heart of the community where our target youth live and play! We have been working effortlessly to help bring family arts and entertainment back to the Hilltop!! The D.A.S.H. Center serves as a safe haven and home to many youth and adults who have come to use the performing arts as their outlet. Please help us stay alive!!! Any amount will help the D.A.S.H. tremendously toward our goal!!! PLU's Office of Admission has graciously donated space for us to hold a benefit to help raise funds! "A D.A.S.H. of Hope" Benefit show and Silent Auction is being held on Sept 27th at PLU's Columbia Center. Musical Performances by the Randy Oxford Band, Back Seat Driver, Shyan Selah, AoHH!, HMS, and DJ Kareem will entertain the crowd all night. During band changes you will enjoy performances and presentations from D.A.S.H. Center students and performance teams, and PLU's Trinidad Dance Team. A special showing of the documentary "D.A.S.H.: the Rhythm Behind the Movement", created by PLU's MediaLab, will also be presented. Tickets to this event are only $20 and can be purchased on our website, in person at the D.A.S.H. Center, or from any D.A.S.H. Center representative.
