This got kicked back due to a bad Oldboys email address so I apologize if
you got it twice.

Hey Quin Family,

Just came across a new (or at least new to me) function of Amazon.com.
It's called Amazon Smile and what it does is on every eligible purchase
(which is indicated in the description of the item by "eligible for Amazon
Smile") Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the charitable
donation of your choosing.  You can choose from almost a million eligible
501(c)(3) charity organizations.  Choose your organization by going to the
drop down which is located just underneath the Amazon store search bar.

Thanks to the efforts of the club a few years back (a reiteration of Tom
Vyles Thank you Kudos list is below) your beloved Harlequins are a
qualifying charity and you can type them in on the drop down and the club
pops up and you can select them for your charity should you choose.

I'm partial to the American Brain Tumor Association myself, however, the
important thing is that it doesn't cost any extra or add any extra cost to
the item, it's completely free on your part so choose something that is
near and dear and start giving!  You can change your charity at any time.
With so many charities out there, do your research to make sure that the
charity gives back to the cause that your are supporting.  There have been
recent headlines about unscrupulous charity's.  You want to make sure that
a large portion is going to the programs and not fundraising or
administration.  There is a good website, charitynavigator.com that breaks
down charities and where that money goes to.  I checked this also, but the
Quins didn't pop up.  I'm guessing after match drink ups at the Rover
aren't a qualifying area this site tracks!  But we do have an awesome Toys
for Tots drive so that should make up for something!

Just remember when you go to Amazon you need to type smile.amazon.com to
get to the right shopping page, select your charity, and then bookmark it.

Just thought I would pass this along as there are a lot of good causes out
there to get behind.  This info may have already been distributed and I may
have missed it.

To the executive committee: there is a pop up that says that Amazon Smile
will reach out to the Denver Harlequins to make sure they are ready to
accept donations so if you haven't already you may want to look into that
to see what it's all about.

the 501(c)(3) set up, that are worth mentioning again.
