We finally saw the Spotted Towhee at 11:30 A.M.today under grey skies.
We were sure we'd seen it zip in and out a couple times almost out of
sight. Then the homeowner's were just leaving home and told us that it
had been there all morning (but it's hard to see from the road...snow
bank blinding the porch...) and they kindly suggested we park in their
driveway and watch. this was great but I had my doubts as to whether it
would still be there since, at 10:45, a Northern Shrike dove into the
bush pile where the sparrows hid by the road, sat for 8 seconds, then
flew off behind the house.

Directions: Take Trafalgar Road north of the 401, right of Steeles Ave.,
left (north) on 9th line...becomes Mountainview in Georgetown (you'll
notice a giant Halton Hills water tower as you enter Georgetown...),
then Confederation. Turn Right on Main Street in Glen Williams and
follow this street to #571. It's about 15 minutes north of the 401.
