We expect the candidate to contribute to at least one of the Department’s doctoral specialty areas in Globalization or Institutions and Inequality, and to collaborate on multi-disciplinary research projects. We are especially interested in candidates whose research, expertise, or skills would complement or could expand the current multidisciplinary research portfolio of the Center for Social Science Research (cssr.gmu.edu), and/or the Institute for Immigration Research (iir.gmu.edu). Required Qualifications: Applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, and be prepared to teach at the undergraduate as well as graduate (MA and Ph.D.) levels. The teaching responsibility is two courses per semester. The candidate also should be prepared to engage in department, college and university service.
