Al

Some thoughts of caution on Watermakers.  Consider the location of the intake
for you watermaker.  If it is through the bottom of the boat like many.
Consider the paint on the bottom of the boat.  It's primary purpose is to kill
living things.  Now granted not a lot of these poison will be picked up and
these filter, get 99% of all particulate out of the water.  Than is 1 part per
100 passing through.  Most water quality specifications talk in parts per
1,000,000.  For example, if memory serves, 60 parts of lead per million is
considered unsafe.  Further many of these poisons do not pass through the body
easily but are stored up over the years and your health is effected slowly.
You might want to think of your watermaker as an emergency back up and not a
day to day source.

Don,
Unless your talking to a different Al, I think the water comes into his
watermaker from the top of his boat, not the bottom.  Of course, I might
have missed something here (which is often the case) and the jokes on
me.
