Hey everyone,
Steven Davis is a Cat 1 racer from California that rides for the the Spy Elite Cycling Team. He has been traveling for the summer racing and racking up points and experience in his efforts to jump up into the Pro Ranks. He has been on the road since June 1st racing: Nevada City, Mt. Hood Classic, Baker City Classic, High Desert Omnium, Redmond, and this coming week The Cascade Classic.
He is looking to come to CO for the month of August, racing the Salida Classic, a RR and Crit near Glenwood Springs, then another Stage Race in Steamboat. After the CO tour, he'll be looking to race a 6 day stage race in Tobago/Trinidad. He's hoping that CO will give him the quality training, racing, and hopeful exposure that he's looking to gain, in order to race as a Pro in 2014.
As you can imagine, all that traveling and racing is expensive and Steven has been able to get housing along the way to help defray the costs. Would anyone in our community be interested housing Steven while he comes to race in the Salida Classic? It would be an amazing opportunity to see a few days in the life of an elite racer and help a guy out that you may one day see racing in the Tour de France.

We have a pretty large cycling club that sponsors the race and they are really active and supportive of other cyclers. Can you send me a bit more about you, maybe a couple pictures or a link to a website or something and I'll pass it on to our club via our talk list and see if anyone would be able to put you up for the weekend. I am currently racing the circuit and after The Cascade Classic in Bend, Or; I was planning on making my way to CO to do a little more quality stage racing.
