A spotting scope was found by the staff at the Coastal Center at Milford Point today- first seen around 3:30pm, and still there at 5:30pm in the middle of the concrete path.

The staff locked the spotting scope inside the building for the night.  You can visit on Sunday 12 noon-4pm or Tuesday-Friday 10-4 to reclaim your scope.

Good birding,
Ken

Ken,

Thanks for posting this. I am sure some frantic person is beside
themselves. I would be! Just another great way this fine CT listserve
can help.

Suggestion: I put my contact number, email & sometimes name on all my
equipment. I also have a file copy of the name & type of equipment,
plus all my serial numbers for each piece of equipment. This way
someone can contact you, and by you having the serial number can
verify you are no question, the owner of
the equipment. The finder of the lost equipment now has 2 ways of
contacting you even without a name.

Cheers,
