Highlights for Weight Control Seminar, Sat. Feb. 26th, 2 PM (Pacific Time)
Here are some highlights of tomorrow’s weight loss hypnosis seminar. Many
of the principles may be applied to other areas of self-improvement as
well. Most of tomorrow’s seminar will be spent in hypnosis. A few seats are

If you want help for weight management and cannot attend the seminar, use
the recordings. Many people have had amazing results with the recordings
alone. Here is your mental preparation for weight control:
- Your subconscious can be programmed for automatic habit and lifestyle
changes, like flipping a switch. For weight loss and maintenance, mindset
needs to change before the body can change. Negative self-talk, doubts,
criticism filter from the conscious mind into the subconscious, by
repetition. The subconscious accepts all programming like a computer,
positive or negative and acts on it. Stop feeding yourself “I cannot do
this or that;” “I will always because …” if the self-talk is not positive.
- Hypnosis and your imagination (subconscious mind) are more powerful
than will power (conscious mind). Using will power to change a habit
creates tension.
- The images of yourself that you hold in your mind are powerful.
Repeatedly impress a clear mental image of yourself with the figure you
want. Imagine the compliments of others; fitting into new smaller size
clothing; lighter on your feet, dancing; etc. See yourself happily saying
no to what you do not want to eat. It is all about repeating the
programming to manage stress, plate cleaning, rewards, celebrations,
boredom differently. Hypnosis locks your mind around new ideas, images, and
your subconscious work unconsciously to fulfill the programming. People who
do this in hypnosis and self-hypnosis develop a slimmer figure. Their
subconscious mind automatically helps them to choose healthier foods,
smaller portions and body movement that will bring results to match the
mental image. Hypnosis and self-hypnosis are both skills and the more you
practice them, the stronger the results.
- Permanent weight loss requires a lifestyle change. You cannot lose
weight and go back to your old habits. You know what to do, but you need
something to control your mind to take action to change behavior. Hypnosis
makes this easy.
- My simple system will not work for everyone unless they follow the
instructions and their reasons for change are strong. Do not doubt or
analyze what is happening in your hypnosis session, just follow, accept,
and imagine the instructions are true. Just enjoy the hypnosis and treat it
as play. You gain control of your life in hypnosis. You do not lose
control. Some are motivated by looking better, feeling more attractive,
more confident, healthier, more energy to do sports or play with children,
to live longer. About 2-5% need medical attention to correct the causes of
excess weight. You are responsible to start and follow through. Backbone
action is better than wishbone. Most gimmicks advertised do not work.
- Exercise alone will not do it. You must walk about thirty-five miles
to lose a pound. Change in quantity and types of food is necessary.
- We are unique. Some people gain or lose weight on the same meal plan.
Hypnosis is a huge help to stick to any weight loss diet or program. Stress
and anxiety may cause weight loss in one person, but weight gain in another.
- Eating excess food or excessive unhealthy food is an addiction that
can be controlled. The first step is to keep sugary, oily, and processed
foods out of your sight, preferably out of your house. Out of sight, out of
mind. Jack LaLane always said: “If it touches your lips, it will be on your
hips.”
