Owl reporting

It's disturbing to read recent posts about sightings and locations of owls.
What's more disturbing is the use of owl calls to attract the birds.
Right now, Great Horned Owls are likely sitting on eggs.  To use
owl calls at this time is highly disruptive and stressful for the birds,
and can have fatal consequences.

This winter has already been extremely difficult for birds and other
wildlife, in struggling to survive some very harsh conditions.
Birders should not compound this situation, and should give all
wildlife some space and peace.

The Big January is over and done.
