Hi, I'm currently cruising 100 days every year, on my Diesel Duck.  As I explained to Jordan, NO Cat will ever run at 1 gallon per hour, as does the John Deere 4045.  Food is food and can be anything from hot dogs and beans to filet mignon and Maine lobsters.  Marinas will quickly add up expenses, but we avoid them and anchor out.  I'd say, even with eating well, we are currently running under $2000/month.
