Bob,
Back in our sailing days, we used to sail for free. The wind costs nothing.
Of course the sailmaker made me a new main, 130% jib and a cruising chute for
plenty of big bucks!
We prefer to avoid running the gen set. If we are traveling it is no problem.
Our fridge is propane and the inverter takes care of our 110v needs. We can
easily go two nights like this. By then, we are bored and ready to move on.
If not, an hour or so will bring everything up to the magic 85%.
Regards,
Randy Pickelmann
