This coming Friday is the monthly meeting for Midwest VHF and UHF Society. As noted in the newsletter it will be a Zoom meeting. Details will be sent out later this week. Next we need to hear from all of you about the August meeting. Normally it would be a picnic at Daun's house. There would be test equipment to test what ever you needed tested. Jim, I really think the MVUS "picnic" meeting should be changed to a Zoom meeting. While I'm not so sure of conditions in Ohio, the danger here in Texas is much higher than ever, and I rather doubt that things are much different anywhere in the contiguous US. I'd hate to see a bunch of my friends get sick (or worse). I agree with Dana about doing the MVUS picnic via Zoom. But we would miss the smell of Tom grilling the burgers…and maybe the flames that sometimes go along with that. Maybe members could suggest different discussion topics to have during a zoom picnic. I would attend a masked picnic....which could be a hybrid Zoom/in-person meeting. Obviously, the hosts can veto...
