Gig Harbor Art Festival Extends Applicaiton Deadline; Reduces
Exhibition Fees

(GIG HARBOR)  In honor of the 25th Anniversary of the Gig Harbor
Summer Art Festival, the Peninsula Art League has announced that the
deadline for artist applications has been extended to March 31. In
addition, booth fees for the Festival have been reduced to $190 for a
regular booth, $230 for a corner booth.

"As artists ourselves, PAL is very aware of the challenges artists
are facing in today's economy," said Carol Valstyn, who chairs the
event. "We think it's very important in these trying times to be as
supportive as we can of the community of painters, sculptors, jewelry
designers, woodworkers, glass and ceramic artists and other artists
who are trying to make a living by bringing beauty to the world
though their work."

Complete details on the screening requirements are included on the
artist application form (attached), and on the PAL website at http://
