Zinc manufacturers

We had a discussion awhile back about different brands of zincs. I purchased
some from boatzincs.com and was not familiar with the brand name, Reliance.
I wrote them and got the following reply:

Since no single manufacturer produces every anode required by every one of
customers, we sell multiple brands of anodes -- including Reliance, Camp and
Martyr.  However, all our anodes have one thing in common -- they are made
of Mil-Spec alloys.  The importance of Mil-Spec zinc is described at
http://www.boatzincs.com/use_milspec_a18001k.html.  All our zinc anodes
conform to this specification.

The Reliance and Martyr brands are both produced in Vancouver BC.  The
Reliance is perhaps more popular on the West Coast, and similar to the East
Coast popularity of Camp which is based in FL.  Martyr is popular
nationwide, even worldwide. Regardless, all three brands are truly
excellent, and have been well received by all of our customers.

I looked at your past orders and believe that all anodes we have shipped to
you were produced by Reliance.  You got the best anodes money can buy,
indeed.

Does that spec match up with what you guys would expect? I know somebody
mentioned something about a plating spec vs. an anode spec.
