Dear Colleagues, Prof. Deng Xiaonan from Beida has requested that I forward the following announcement: The Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (IHSS) at Peking University is an academic institution centered on the basic disciplines of humanities and social sciences. It aims to contribute to interdisciplinary researches and foster international exchange and cooperation. Every semester, IHSS opens online application for the program to scholars from home and abroad, whose specialization spans the humanities, social sciences and the natural sciences that intersect the humanities and social sciences. Scholars could choose either the spring semester (March-June) or the autumn semester (September-December). The visiting period is usually 4 months. During the visit, IHSS provides academic support and administrative services tailored to the research programs proposed by the fellows.
