Yesterday, 12/22, I covered Milford Point & vicinity for the Stratford-Milford CBC. Sixty-one species were tallied. Highlights were EURASIAN WIGEON (continuing drake at Jonathan Law HS pond), 2 White-winged Scoter (Milford Pt), AMERICAN BITTERN (flying over marsh at Milford Pt), 3 Clapper Rail (calling from Milford Pt marsh at dawn), Greater Yellowlegs (Milford Pt), 2 Winter Wren (Milford Pt and Court Street boat ramp), MARSH WREN (Court Street boat ramp) and 34 Snow Bunting (Milford Pt sandbars).
