2/24 After shoveling snow and filling feeders early this morning, a flock of 500 blackbirds (400 Common Grackles, 100 Red-winged Blackbirds, 10 Brown-headed Cowbirds) descended onto them; at least until a Sharp-shinned Hawk flushed them all.
